ORANGE TIP: Busyness

ORANGE TIP: Busyness

The last few weeks have been absolutely crazy busy for me. I went from working about 18 hours a week, to nearly 38 hours almost instantly. As workplaces start to reopen, we may feel the strain on us. Some people have had reduced hours at work, which has meant more time with family, learning a new skill or doing some work around the house.

Suddenly your workplace opens and it is all hands on deck, thus leaving what you had been focusing on to fall to the background.

The last few weeks I have let God fall to the background. Always with a quick prayer here or there if I remembered. Getting home and seeing my Bible and saying to myself that I would read it later, but never would. Not investing time into my relationship with God.

I think we can all get caught up with the busyness of life and think that we are too busy for God.

I know one thing.

I’m sure glad God isn’t too busy for me.

What is ‘Orange’? Orange is a visual reminder that to help our kids follow Jesus the church and families need to work together.

If RED represents the love and heart of families for their kids… And YELLOW represents the light that the church should be in the world… Then ORANGE is when we come together, work together and guide our children together.
