OUR STORY

Southport started in 1949 and Helensvale in 1983, they both had a long standing presence in their local communities. The formation of CrossLife with Southport joining Helensvale in 2012 was prompted by the desire of both churches to see new churches planted on the northern Gold Coast. This desire was reflected in January 2013 when the third CrossLife campus, Upper Coomera, started operating at our new “Lakeside” community node at Stockland’s Highland Reserve Development in Upper Coomera. In 2018 the Upper Coomera campus moves to our second community site, The Well, in Upper Coomera where it continues to meet today.

CrossLife is a church community that actively engages with the wider community not merely by church services, youth programs and life groups but also through programs such as; Crossroads, Young Discoverers Child Care and our community venues: The Lakeside Community Precinct and The Well at Upper Coomera. We are love to practice this direct investment in our localities as pathways for the families and children of our local communities can flourish, and meet the Lord Jesus and find life forever through the gospel in His name.

We are here to help you flourish and live life well!  We find that life can throw us curve balls all the time. Whether we are parents, kids, students, the boss or neighbours down the street, tough times come along.  At CrossLife we try to help each other struggle well with life.  A way of living that is founded on following Jesus, who came “to give life and give it to the fullest” (John 10:10)
